ARTICLE 13--COMPENSATION

 

13.1     Members shall be paid in accordance with the Academic Salary Schedule. 

For 2004-2005,

1.               Members will be paid a one-time bonus of 2% off the salary schedule retroactive for services provided between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005, and

2.               Members will be paid a one-time bonus of 2% off the salary schedule retroactive for services provided between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005, in restoration of sabbatical leaves and conference funds and to offset Blue Shield co-pay for 2004-2005; and

3.               The Academic Salary Schedule will be increased by 1% retroactive to July 1, 2004—members will be paid retroactively for services provided between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005.

 

Retroactive pay will paid to members for regular, overload, associate and substitute assignments; no retroactive will be paid to members for stipends.  The pay date will be arranged with Fiscal Services.

 

4.         Winter intersession 2005 will be paid at the same rate as other associate and overload assignments on the Associate Faculty Salary Schedule.

 

13.2     OVERLOAD COMPENSATION

Members electing to take overload contracts may be compensated on the Associate Salary Schedule. Load-Based Assignments—all load based assignments will be paid on the Associate Salary Schedule

13.2.1    Instructional faculty who perform duties over and beyond their normal workday or work year within their normal professional responsibilities or encompassed in their job descriptions may be paid on the Associate Salary Schedule A or may choose to bank the overload (See Article 38).

13.2.2    Non-instructional faculty who perform duties over and beyond their normal workday or work year within their normal professional responsibilities or encompassed in their job descriptions may be paid on an hourly basis on the Associate Salary Schedule D or may choose to bank the overload (See Article 38).

13.2.3    Other duties performed by members outside of 13.2.1 and 13.2.2 will be paid hourly on the Associate Salary Schedule C.  The member may not bank this overload.
